Not legal advice

ListingLint is an automated, rule-based word and fact check. It is not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. It may miss problems, flag acceptable wording, or not reflect your state's or city's laws. You are solely responsible for the advertisements you write, approve, and publish. Consult your broker or a qualified fair housing attorney for advice about a specific ad.

No guarantee

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. A result with no flags does not mean an ad complies with the Fair Housing Act, 24 CFR § 100.75, state or local law, NAR's Code of Ethics, or your MLS rules. To the extent the law allows, ListingLint's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.

Sources

Rules cite public sources: HUD's January 9, 1995 advertising memo, 24 CFR § 100.75, 42 U.S.C. §§ 3604(c) and 3607(b), and published word lists from the Long Island Board of REALTORS®, CRMLS, and the New York and Oklahoma press associations. Those sources sometimes disagree, and guidance changes. ListingLint is not affiliated with or endorsed by HUD, NAR, any REALTOR® association, or any MLS.

If Pro isn't for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. TODO: confirm policy.
